At about 10:15 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 12 Ernst Street in Roxbury.
Upon arrival, officers observed two male victims suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The first male appeared to be in his early 20’s and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The second male appeared to be in his late 20’s and was transported to Boston Medical Center. Both victims later succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Approximately three hours later, a third male gunshot victim involved in the above incident made himself known to officers in the area of 70 Bragdon Street in Roxbury. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
