As many people already know, a police officer is never really “off duty.” This fact was illustrated by a Boston police officer enjoying some personal time last Friday in Worcester when he observed a man with a gun outside the Worcester Public Library. The officer immediately notified the Worcester police and followed the man into the library, where video surveillance showed the suspect attempted to stash the gun amongst a stack of books. Thanks to the keen observations of the Boston police officer, Worcester PD officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect. The suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
