BPD's National Night Out Not Dampened by Rain

As promised, National Night Out festivities commenced all over the city despite golf ball-sized hail and sheets of rain pelting the neighborhoods of Boston. But as fast as the storm moved in, it cleared right out for the fun to continue. Thanks to donations from the Boston Police Foundation, Target, and Boston’s Center for Children and Families, community members were still able to enjoy free food, water, games, and activities with BPD Commissioner Evans, Mayor Walsh, and many other Boston police officers and elected officials.
