Boston Area Church League Honors BPD Commissioner William Evans

Last week, the Boston Area Church League, an outreach program for at-risk Boston youth, held their annual luncheon celebrating their 13th year as a partner with the Boston community. This year, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans was honored to attend with Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker, who delivered the keynote address, Boston Red Sox Chairman Thomas Werner, and General Manager of the Hilton Back Bay Dominique Marty. Commissioner Evans was presented the Pedro Martinez Most Valuable Player Award for his leadership in the BPD and the department’s partnership with the BACL to reach out to the youngsters in the community.
