At about 6:45 AM on Friday, January 1, 2016, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) and District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a female down in the road in the area of 653 Columbia Road.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 29-year-old female victim who reported a male had grabbed her from behind, stated he had a weapon, and then sexually assaulted her in the area of Annabel Street. The suspect is described as a black male (possibly Cape Verdean), approximately 25 years old, 5’7”-5’11” with a thin build and a goatee. The suspect may have been wearing black pants and a black jacket with a pink shirt underneath. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.
