Boston Police Runner’s Club Heads to Los Angeles as the City Hosts Their 1st 'Run to Remember' Half Marathon

For over a decade, the BPD and the Boston Police Runner's Club have invited runners from around the country and world to participate in Boston’s 'Run to Remember' half marathon and five mile run through the streets of historic Downtown Boston.  'Run to Remember' is dedicated to honoring all first responders killed in the line of duty by honoring their lives and giving back to the community.  Over the years, members of the LAPD have come out in great numbers to run and participate in the event - this year, they took it upon themselves to become the host city of their own race for the same great cause.  On Sunday January 24, 2016, members of the Boston Police Runner’s Club were out in L.A. running in support of their inaugural event.
