BPD Community Alert: BPD Release New Images of Suspect Wanted in Connection to Attempted Sexual Assault in area of Fitzgerald Park on Mission Hill in Roxbury

BPD Community Alert: BPD Release New Footage of Suspect Wanted in Connection to Attempted Sexual Assault in area of Fitzgerald Park on Mission Hill in Roxbury: At about 1:38pm, on Saturday, October 8, 2016, officers from to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for an attempted sexual assault in the area of the Kevin Fitzgerald Park on Saint Alphonsus Street on Mission Hill in Roxbury. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that a male suspect approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her before fleeing the scene. The suspect who is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, with a slim build, black hair possibly in a ponytail, a goatee and tattoos on both arms was wearing black and white sneakers, black shorts and a black t-shirt with white lettering. The suspect was later observed riding a mountain bike (believed to be a Giant Brand/Rincon Model Mountain Bike) towards Huntington Avenue.

The Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information relative to the suspect’s identity is asked to call detectives directly at (617) 343-4400.
