BPD Community Alert: The Boston Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Person of Interest in Connection to an Attempted Kidnapping in the area of Blue Hill Avenue & Brookford Street in Roxbury

BPD Community Alert:  At about 6:22 AM on Tuesday October 25, 2016, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for an attempted kidnapping in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Brookford Street in Roxbury.  The female juvenile victim was not injured during the incident and was able to safely get away from the suspect with the assistance of a passerby.  Investigators are seeking the public's help in identifying the individual shown in the above photograph.  He is described as a black male between 6’0”-6’2” tall, weighing approximately 200 lbs., clean shaven, wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and tan pants.

The Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.  Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact detectives assigned to District B-2 at (617) 343-4275.
