At about 2:55 PM on Monday, December 12, 2016, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 49 Bullard Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be his twenties, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
