Keeping Boston Safe: BPD Drug Control Unit Seizes Over 400 Grams of Heroin: In the BPD’s ongoing efforts to target those involved in illegal drug activities, members of the District B-3 Drug Control Unit conducted an investigation of heroin distribution in the Mattapan, Dorchester and Roslindale neighborhoods of Boston. As a result of the investigation, officers executed multiple search warrants on today's date, Monday, December 12, 2016, which lead to the seizure of 444 grams of heroin (Class A Drug), over $5,000 in US Currency and various drug paraphernalia including scales, packaging materials and cell phones. Officers arrested Yeury Villar, 26, of Boston and charged him with Trafficking a Class A Drug (Heroin).
