One Less Gun: Officers Recover Stolen Vehicle and Multiple Firearms, Arrest 3 Suspects in Southie

At about 4:15 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016, members of the District C-6 (South Boston) Neighborhood Drug Control Unit effected three arrests in a firearm related incident in the area of B Street and Crowley Rogers Way.

While on patrol, officers observed a stolen vehicle occupied by four males in the above area. When officers attempted to conduct a stop of the vehicle, all four suspects fled the car on foot. Officers pursued the suspects and were able to apprehend three of the individuals, while the fourth was able to make good his escape. During the chase, the operator of the vehicle pushed an officer to the ground prior to the officer detaining him. Officers secured the stolen vehicle and an inventory of its contents revealed a loaded Walther P22 semi-automatic handgun reported stolen out of Boston and a loaded Dan Wesson .357 Magnum revolver.

Officers arrested the operator, 19-year-old Eugene E. Parrish of Dorchester, and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device, Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property over $250, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Also arrested were 25-year-old Stephen M. Bullock of Roxbury and 18-year-old Sergei Tyrell of South Boston.  They were both charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device, and Receiving Stolen Property over $250.
