Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD Fugitive Unit Assists Feds in Capturing Armed and Dangerous Criminal

 

On Wednesday, February 17, 2016, after a lengthy investigation, members of the BPD Fugitive Unit, US Marshals HIDTA Task Force, and Mass State Police placed fugitive suspect, 27-year-old Dejahn Harrison of Dorchester, under arrest.

As a result of a surveillance operation, Harrison was arrested as he exited a vehicle in the area of 37 Pleasant Hill Avenue, Dorchester in District B-3 (Mattapan). Harrison was arrested by virtue of several firearm warrants issued by the United States Federal Court. Harrison has a lengthy, violent past and was considered armed with several firearms and extremely dangerous.

Harrison was charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and then released to the custody of the US Deputy Marshals for transport to Federal Court.
