At about 8:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2016, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person with a gun in the area of 8 Theodore Street, Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to three females who stated that they were staying with two friends when an argument broke out. During the argument, one of the friends, a 17-year-old female from Dorchester, pulled out a silver firearm, pointed it at the three females, and stated, “I have a gun. I can kill you.” Feeling threatened, one of the females, 19-year-old Erukinia Philogene of Mattapan, wielded a knife in the suspects’ direction and told her she would have to kill all of them.
Inside the apartment, the officers located the 17-year-old female who allegedly showed the firearm, then conducted a sweep of the common areas of the residence for the second suspect and the firearm. Officers located the second suspect, a 16-year-old female from Dorchester, in the hallway. A pat frisk of the 16-year-old and her purse revealed a loaded silver .22 caliber Harrington & Richardson Model 930 revolver inside the purse.
Officers arrested the 17-year-old female juvenile from Dorchester and charged her with Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Gun). Also arrested was the 16-year-old female juvenile from Mattapan for Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Officers arrested Philogene and charged her with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
