Death Investigation in area of Columbia Road & Devon Street: At about 4:37pm, on Sunday, February 21, 2016, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Columbia Road and Devon Street. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his late teens, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where it was later determined that the injury suffered was in fact a stab wound. The victim, a 15 year-old male from Boston, later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Investigators have identified a person of interest wanted in connection to this incident but no formal charges have been filed.
