Death Investigation in the Area of 227 River Street, Mattapan


At about 2:10 AM on Sunday, March 27, 2016, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 227 River Street in Mattapan.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male who appeared to be in his 20’s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second male victim in his 20’s was transported to Carney Hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.
