Community Alert: BPD Seeking Public’s Help in Effort to Identify Individual Wanted in Connection to Non-Fatal Stabbing in Roxbury: About 7:59pm, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 19 Burrell Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located and spoke to the victim, a male in his seventies, who stated that an individual approached him and demanded money. The victim states he refused the suspect’s demands and an altercation ensued in which the victim was stabbed. Victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information relative to the individual pictured is asked to call District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.
