BPD Traffic Advisory for the Boston Pride Parade on Saturday June 11, 2016

2016 Boston Pride Parade - On Saturday, June 11, 2016, an estimated 35,000 participants will gather on Boylston Street, between Dalton and Clarendon Streets at 12:00 PM and proceed to walk along the following route:  Boylston Street at Clarendon Street, left onto Tremont Street, left onto Berkeley Street, right onto Boylston Street, left onto Charles Street, right onto Beacon Street, left onto Tremont Street, straight onto Cambridge Street and right onto City Hall Plaza

Streets along the route will be closed to traffic until approximately 4:00 PM.  

The following temporary "Tow Zone No Stopping Saturday" parking restrictions will be in effect:

  • Boylston Street, both sides, from Massachusetts Avenue to Tremont Street
  • Exeter Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to St. James Avenue
  • Dartmouth Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to St. James Avenue
  • Gloucester Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to Boylston Street
  • Fairfield Street, both sides, from Boylston Street to Newbury Street
  • Clarendon Street, both sides, from Newbury Street to Tremont Street
  • Tremont Street, both sides, from Union Park Street to East Berkeley Street
  • Berkeley Street, both sides, from Tremont Street to Newbury Street
  • Charles Street South, both sides, from Park Plaza to Boylston Street
  • Charles Street, both sides, from Boylston Street to Beacon Street
  • Beacon Street, both sides, from Charles Street to Tremont Street
  • Tremont Street, both sides, from Cambridge Street to Beacon Street
  • Court Street, both sides, from Washington Street to Cambridge Street
  • Cambridge Street, City Hall Plaza side, from Somerset Street to Court Street, and east side, from Sudbury Street to New Chardon Street
  • New Chardon Street, both sides, from Cambridge Street to Congress Street

Chandler Street Block PartyChandler Street, from Berkeley Street to the end of Chandler Street, will be closed to traffic from 7 AM to 9 PM.  In addition, temporary “Tow Zone No Parking Boston Police Special Event 6 AM to 9 PM” parking restrictions will be in effect as follows.

·         Chandler Street, South End, both sides, from Berkeley Street heading east to the end.
