BPD Photo of the Day: Lyndon School Students Get Some Unexpected Back Up During Tug of War Contest in West Roxbury

Earlier today, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, Chief William Gross stopped by the Patrick Lyndon School Field Day in West Roxbury. Every year, students go over to nearby Billings Field to compete for bragging rights in a variety of challenges. One of the most popular events is always Tug-of-War. When a group of kindergartners were looking for some help to win their final contest, they asked the Chief for back up. Not surprisingly, they emerged victorious, but the judging by smiles on both sides, it looked like everyone came out a winner.
