BPD Photo of the Day: Young Musicians Stop by the District C-6 Police Station in South Boston to Perform for Officers

Yesterday afternoon, on Friday, July 15, 2016, a group of children from the local Boys & Girls Club stopped by the District C-6 police station in South Boston to sing and play instruments for the officers working the day tour. The musicians are taking part in the club’s summer program and thought it was a nice idea to brighten the officer’s day with a couple of songs. Their idea was a hit - all the officers were very appreciative and a few even joined in the act. Our thanks to these thoughtful kids for coming by and hope they know we would welcome an encore performance anytime.
