Cops for Kids with Cancer Makes $5,000 Donation to Teenager in Need

On Monday, June 18, 2016, the non-profit charity organization Cops for Kids with Cancer visited the home of Jake Rackaukas, a 16-year-old diagnosed with brain cancer, to present a $5,000.00 donation to his family. Jake’s father Richard and mother April were on hand to accept the gift from retired Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief and retired CFKWC chairman Bob Faherty. CFKWC continues day-in and day-out to raise money to assist families with children battling cancer, helping them to provide funds for treatment and other needs they may encounter during their fight against this disease.
