At about 9:05 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2016, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in progress in the area of 42 Robinson Street.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who reported he had been physically assaulted and “tasered” in the neck by a group of males. The suspects then stole his cell phone and fled in the direction of Ronan Park. Officers canvassed the area, and shortly, members of the City Wide Bicycle Unit observed three males fitting the suspects’ descriptions entering Ronan Park. Officers were able to stop the males and positively identify them as the suspects who robbed the victim.
Officers arrested 25-year-old Sherome Pight, a 17-year-old juvenile male, and a 15-year-old juvenile male, all from Dorchester, and charged them with Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Taser).
