Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD Fugitive Unit Arrests Suspect Wanted in Connection to Stanwood Street Home Invasion

This morning members of the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit working with Boston Homicide investigators, as part of a lengthy investigation responded to the area of 824 Blue Hill Avenue where they located and arrested 31-year-old Robert Williams of Dorchester. Williams was wanted on an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with Armed Home Invasion, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

The charges stem from Williams' involvement in a February 12, 2016 incident at 107 Stanwood Street during which Williams and a second suspect, Peter Fanfan, are alleged to have entered a home, assault a victim, and flee before being confronted by responding officers outside the residence.

Williams will be arraigned later today at Suffolk Superior Court.
