At about 10:00 PM on Saturday August 13, 2016, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested two individuals on firearm related charges in the area of 7 Topliff Street.  Officers spoke to the victim who stated that she had been threatened the night before at about 9:00 PM by two armed suspects, identified as Timothy Hampton, 23, of Dorchester and Areitah Malcolm, 28, of Dorchester who were known to her.   The victim stated that the two suspects had both pointed guns at her and threatened to kill her.  The male suspect was armed with a silver handgun at the time while the female was holding a distinctive pink colored firearm.  The officers made contact with the suspects and were able to recover a loaded, pink and black firearm during a protective sweep of their apartment.  Officers then placed the two suspects in custody without incident and secured the apartment while awaiting the issuance of a search warrant.  The two suspects will appear in Dorchester District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Threats.
