BPD In The Community: Kids From The PAL Summer Reading Program Stop by Boston Police Headquarters for a Visit

On Wednesday August 17, 2016, students from the Maurice J. Tobin School in Roxbury stopped by Boston Police Headquarters as part of this year’s PAL summer reading program.   The kids got the chance to get up close and personal with Chief Gross who was all smiles as he read to the attentive audience.  There were more surprises in store as the kids enjoyed face painting, a demonstration by the Boston Police K-9 Unit, a special visit from the BPD Hoodsie Truck and a few photos with Commissioner Evans.
