On Monday, August 22, 2016, at approximately 1:00 AM, while walking in the vicinity of Greenwich Park and Claremont Street (near Greenway, District D-4), a female victim was approached by a male suspect on a blue colored BMX style bicycle. The suspect stated he had a knife and forced the victim to walk to the area of the Carter Playground and sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect then fled towards Davenport Street in the direction of Tremont Street.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, late 20's to mid 30's, medium complexion 5’-6” to 5’-7” tall, medium build, brown short cropped hair, wearing a button down shirt with ¾ length sleeves and possibly a vest, tattoo's on his right arm and the back of his right hand.
