At about 1:20 AM on Friday August 26, 2016, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a white SUV travelling down Mildred Avenue firing a weapon, possibly a firearm or a BB gun, causing damage to parked motor vehicles. Officers located several cars with shattered side windows and broadcast a detailed description of the suspect vehicle. A short time later, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force located the vehicle at a gas station near Washington Street and Gallivan Boulevard. The officers approached the SUV and immediately observed what appeared to be several firearms inside at which time they quickly removed the three occupants who were later identified as Franck Jules, 29, of Mattapan (operator), Robserson Jacques, 20, of Mattapan and a 16 year old juvenile male from Randolph. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that all four weapons were pellet guns and that both the vehicle and the license plates which were attached had been reported stolen in separate recent incidents. All three suspects were placed in custody without incident and have been charged in Dorchester District Court. Franck Jules is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Destruction of Personal Property and Receiving Stolen Property. Roberson Jacques is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Receiving Stolen Property. The 16 year old suspect is charged with Delinquent to Wit: Destruction of Personal Property and Person Under the Age of 18 in Possession of a BB Gun.
