Keeping Boston Safe: Search Warrant Leads to Arrest After Recovery of Large Amounts of Drugs and Cash in Lawrence MA

On Thursday September 22, 2016, officers assigned to the District E-5 (West Roxbury) Drug Control Unit, in a coordinated effort with members of the BPD City Wide Drug Control Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Massachusetts State Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office arrested the target of an active and ongoing drug investigation in the area of 2 Museum Square in Lawrence.  Officers placed David Fret, 57, of Lawrence, in custody after the simultaneous execution of multiple search warrants led to the recovery of 176 grams of heroin, 136 grams of cocaine and $460.00 in cash.  Investigators believe that the suspect is responsible for the supply and distribution of illegal drugs throughout West Roxbury, Roslindale and the Greater Boston area.  The suspect has since been arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on charges of Trafficking Class A & B Drugs.
