BPD Officers Team Up With Stoughton and Mass State Police to Apprehend Wanted Suspect Armed with a Firearm in Dorchester

At about 7:12 PM on Monday September 26, 2016, officers assigned to the Boston Police Fugitive Unit in a coordinated effort with the Massachusetts State Police and the Stoughton Police Department located and arrested Marcus Pierre-Louis, 23, of Stoughton, in the area of 36 Normandy Street in Dorchester.  The suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant issued out of Stoughton District Court for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Assault to Commit a Felony, Assault & Battery and Conspiracy.

Officers located the suspect inside an apartment, lying on a makeshift bed wearing headphones on his ears which allowed them to enter and approach him undetected.  As the officers were placing the suspect in custody, they recovered a loaded firearm from his pocket and discovered several small bags of drugs packaged for sale in plain view on the bed.  As a result, the suspect will now face additional charges in Dorchester District Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Possession of Class A & B Drugs.
