Keeping Boston Safe: BPD Officers Seize Arsenal of Firearms during Search Warrant

At about 4:50 AM on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, members of the City Wide Drug Control Unit and Human Trafficking Unit with the assistance of BPD SWAT executed a search warrant in the area of 19 Bilodeau Road in District B-2 (Roxbury).

Upon entering the residence, officers encountered the target of the investigation, 50-year-old Clarence McGregor of Dorchester, and a 26-year-old male suspect. The officers executed the search warrant and were able to recover a loaded black Taurus .357 Magnum snub nose revolver with an obliterated serial number, a loaded black Smith & Wesson Model 469 high-capacity semi-automatic firearm, a loaded black Titan 25 caliber semi-automatic firearm, a black Jimenez Arms JA .380 caliber semi-automatic firearm reported stolen out of Alabama in 1995, and a loaded black Tri-Star NKC-MO C100 .380 caliber semi-automatic high-capacity firearm. Officers also recovered additional ammunition, several bags of marijuana, and paraphernalia consistent with the illegal sale of marijuana.

Officers arrested McGregor and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (4 counts), Unlawful Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device (2 counts), Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Number, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Substance. Complaints will be sought against the 26-year-old suspect for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Receiving Stolen Property for the firearm reported stolen out of Alabama, which was discovered in a bin with the 26-year-old's personal paperwork.
