Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Extensive Investigation Leads to Arrest of Drug Trafficker

At about 4:25 PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, members of the District B-3 (Mattapan) Neighborhood Drug Control Unit executed several arrest and search warrants in the area of 444 Norfolk Street.

After an extensive, month-long investigation based on information that an individual was distributing heroin and fentanyl in the Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roslindale areas, officers confirmed that 38-year-old Ahmedsy Pabon-Alicea of Mattapan was making drug deliveries and secured warrants for his search and arrest.

On the above date and time, officers located and stopped Pabon-Alicea and executed the warrants. As a result, officers recovered several bags of heroin, just under $100 in US currency, and a cellphone from his vehicle. From his residence, officers seized approximately 17 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of heroin, $500 in US currency, packaging materials, scales, and cutting agents.

Pabon-Alicea was arrested and charged with Trafficking Class A Drugs (Heroin), Distribution of Class A Drugs, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs (Cocaine).

Also present at the residence during the warrant was a 27-year-old female of Mattapan. Complaints will be sought against her for Trafficking Class A Drugs (Heroin) and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs (Cocaine).
