UPDATE: Boston Police Department Grateful for Public’s Help in Effort to Successfully Identify Persons of Interest in 2016 Death Investigation

UPDATE: Boston Police Department Grateful for Public’s Help in Effort to Successfully Identify Persons of Interest in 2016 Death Investigation: The Boston Police Department would like to thank all those who helped in the effort to successfully identify the two individuals pictured. Community members should take great comfort and satisfaction in learning that both individuals have been identified and have been in contact with investigators relative to a 2016 death investigation. It’s important to note and clarify that these individuals are not considered suspects in this investigation but rather persons of interest. 

At about 2:27pm, on Saturday, October 29, 2016, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person or persons shot in the area of 152 Washington Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located two victims suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One of the victims, Benine Timothee, a 36-year-old female of Dorchester, was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. The second victim, a male in his teens, was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
