Keeping Boston Safe: Four in Custody After Months Long Investigation Leads to the Recovery of Drugs and Cash in Boston

At about 7:00 AM on Friday, October 6, 2017, officers assigned to the District A-1 (Downtown) Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant in the area of 26 Oxford Street in Boston after a lengthy investigation into a drug distribution operation in Downtown Boston and Chinatown. As a result of their search, officers were able to recover 90 grams of Fentanyl, several Suboxone films, six mason jars filled with marijuana and $5,205 in U.S. Currency. Officers then arrested the target of their investigation, Roberto Suarez, 51, of Boston, without incident. Officers also located and arrested Charles Darcy, 50, of Boston, Joseph Cavaleri, 33, of Dorchester and Osaro Uhunwnangho, 31, of Boston, without incident as part of the investigation. All four suspects will appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment. Roberto Suarez will be charged with Trafficking Class B Drugs, Distribution of Class B Drugs (2nd & Subsequent), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Drugs.  Darcy, Cavaleri and Uhunwnangho will be charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.
