Boston Police Seeking Public's Help in Identifying Person of Interest Relative to Death Investigation in the Area of Southampton & Topeka Streets, South End

At about 6:40 AM on Sunday, September 24, 2017, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Southampton and Topeka Streets, South End. Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim, later identified as Carlos Montalvo, 33, of Boston, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in relation to the aforementioned homicide investigation. This individual is NOT wanted at this time, and the images are being released for identification purposes only.
