BPD Community Alert: Boston Police Investigating Series of Armed Robberies in Hyde Park, Roslindale, and Roxbury

The Boston Police Department is investigating a series of five armed robberies of convenience stores in multiple Boston neighborhoods over the past week:

  • Thursday, 11/2/17, 10:40 PM, Fairmount Avenue, HP
  • Saturday, 11/4/17, 10:04 PM, River Street, HP
  • Saturday, 11/4/17, 10:29 PM, South Street, Ros
  • Sunday, 11/5/17, 11:00 PM, Warren Street, Rox
  • Tuesday, 11/7/17, 9:30 PM, Belgrade Avenue, Ros

In each of the incidents, one suspect armed with a black firearm and two accomplices enter the store and demand money from registers and safes. The suspects are described as black males, approximately 25 to 30 years old, wearing hooded sweatshirts pulled over their heads and faces, latex gloves, ski masks, and bandanas.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents.
