At about 7:47 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for shots fired in the area of Parker and Tremont Streets in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located three adult males suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of their injuries. One of the victims, a male believed to be in his late teens, later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating and reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
Said Commissioner William Evans: “As is the case with any death investigation, cooperation from anybody who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen something or knows something can make all the difference when it comes to solving these crimes. My officers tell me there were a lot of witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting and we would certainly be grateful for any information they might possess and, hopefully, be willing to share.”
