Women’s Beanpot Hockey Hall of Fame to Induct BPD Detective Jessica Wagner

Women’s Beanpot Hall of Fame to Induct BPD Detective Jessica Wagner: If ever a player deserved to be inducted into the Women’s Beanpot Hall of Fame, Jessica Wagner, now a 12-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, would certainly qualify. During her four year career at Northeastern, Jessica Wagner (Class of 98) helped the Lady Huskies capture three Beanpot Championships in 1994, 1996 and 1997. In 1996, she earned tourney MVP honors after scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals in a 4-3 overtime win over Boston College in the championship game. All told, Wagner averaged over a point-per-game during her Beanpot career amassing seven goals and six assists while leading NU to an 8-1-0 tourney record. Wagner, a Minnesota native, will be honored during the 39th Annual Women's Beanpot on February 7, 2017 at Matthews Arena and the men and women of the Boston Police Department couldn’t be more proud.
