BPD Investigators Seeking Public’s Help in Effort to Identify Individual Wanted in Connection to North End Restaurant Break-In: The Boston Police Department is releasing images of an individual wanted in connection to a break-in which occurred earlier today at a North End restaurant. At about 12:47pm, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call to take a report for a breaking and entering at 143 Richmond Street (Vinoteca Di Monica Restaurant) in the North End. On arrival, officers spoke to a restaurant employee who stated that, upon opening the restaurant, he noticed that the establishment had been broken into and robbed. Officers observed damage to a rear door, believed to be the point of entry, as well as damage to a cash register inside the restaurant. The victim further stated that an undisclosed amount of money had been taken from the register.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information relative to the individual’s identity is strongly urged to contact detectives assigned to District A-1 at (617) 343-4248
