At about 5:45 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017, members of the District B-3 (Mattapan) Neighborhood Drug Control Unit made several arrests in relation to an ongoing investigation in the area of Mattapan Square.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, officers were able to identify two main targets, 25-year-old Saquan Gorman and 22-year-old Esau Gorman, both of Mattapan, involved in the sale and distribution of illicit drugs. Officers secured and executed warrants for the Gormans and, as a result, seized several plastic bags of crack cocaine from their persons. Both were arrested and charged with Distribution of Class B Drugs and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.
Officers were also able to obtain a search warrant for the Gorman residence. Upon execution of this warrant, officers seized the following:
- Twenty-four plastic bags of crack cocaine
- Approximately $9960.00 in US currency
- Scales, packaging, and items used in the distribution of illicit drugs
Officers additionally charged the Gormans with Trafficking Class B Drugs. At the residence, officers also located 37-year-old Stevan Davis of Boston, who was found to be in possession of eight plastic bags of crack cocaine and one plastic bag of heroin. Officers arrested Davis and charged him with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs and Possession of Class A Drugs. Also inside the residence was 36-year-old Kenneth Washington of Roslindale, who was placed under arrest by virtue of an outstanding warrant.
