Justice Served: Officers Arrest Juvenile Wanted in Connection to Downtown Stabbing

At about 6:30 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017, officers from the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, with the assistance of the Everett Police Department, responded to the area of 40 Veterans Avenue in Everett to serve an arrest warrant. Officers located the target of the warrant, a 16-year-old juvenile male from Everett, and arrested him for Delinquent to wit: Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery.

The arrest stems from a stabbing incident that occurred a week prior. Upon arrival, officers located a victim in serious condition. The victim was transported to a Boston area hospital and is expected to survive. As a result of an extensive investigation, detectives were able to quickly identify, locate, and arrest the suspect in less than two weeks. The suspect was arraigned on March 31 in Boston Municipal Court.
