Safer Boston: Search Warrant Enables BPD Officers to Recover Guns, Drugs and Cash in Dorchester: At about 6:03am, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, members of the Area B Neighborhood Drug Control Unit and members of Boston Police SWAT executed a search warrant at 39 Nazing Street in Dorchester. Once inside the location, officers observed and seized two firearms, several rounds of ammunition, 33 individually wrapped plastic bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine (Class B Drug), two plastic bags of marijuana (Class D Drug), various drug paraphernalia including digital scales and plastic bags and an undisclosed amount of US Currency. Additionally, officers arrested Curtis Austin, 23, of Boston and charged him with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana (Class D Drug); Howard Thompson, 28, of Boston charged with Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine (Class B Drug); Michael Stroud, 29, of Boston charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and the Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
