Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD Fugitive Unit Apprehends Suspect in January 2017 Armed Carjacking Incident

Today, Thursday, April 13, 2017, members of the BPD Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested 34-year-old Patrick Denuccio of Boston during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cambridge Street in District D-14 (Brighton). Denuccio was wanted by Lawrence District Court and Newburyport District Court on several outstanding warrants for charges including Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, and two counts of Larceny over $250.

In addition, Denuccio was wanted on a straight warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on January 13, 3017 in the area of 14 Clarkson Street, in which the suspect carjacked a female victim and her 4-year-old daughter and knife-point and threatened to kill them. After a lengthy investigation in which detectives meticulously gathered physical evidence, quickly identified the suspect, and conducted several days of surveillance, Denuccio was ultimately arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking, Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Threats to Commit a Crime, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Larceny over $250.
