Boston Marathon 2017: Honorary Top Cop Devin Suau Happy to See his Mom on the way to the Finish Line

An emotional scene played out along the final stretch of the Boston Marathon as 6-year-old Devin Suau joined his mother Christine for a hug on Boylston Street. Christine had been training at the time of Devin’s diagnosis, causing her to put her plans to run in her first ever marathon on hold. As race day approached, despite the abrupt end to her training program, inspired by the strength of her son, she decided to run – completing the grueling 26.2 mile road course and crossing the finish line with young Devin by her side. We wish you and your family the very best, Christine, and we congratulate you on your strong finish.
