BPD in the Community: Commissioner Evans to Attend Upcoming 4th Annual Peace Rally at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury

National Youth Violence Prevention Week is a week-long national education initiative to raise awareness and to educate students, teachers, school administrators, counselors, school resource officers, parents and the public on effective ways to prevent or reduce youth violence. This year, Youth Violence Prevention Week takes place on April 3rd through April 7, 2017, and will conclude with a Peace Rally at the Reggie Lewis Center on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Come out for a fun night in support of peace and say hello to our own Commissioner Evans who will be on hand to pass out awards and prizes to the winners of three contests between local elementary, middle and high school students.
