BPD in the Community: BPD Teams Compete in 4th Annual “Ginormous Climb” to Benefit The Children’s Advocacy Center

Over the weekend, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, Commissioner Evans and Chief Gross took part in the 4th Annual “Ginormous Climb” to benefit The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County. The event took place at the tallest building in New England, 200 Clarendon Street, formerly the John Hancock Building, located in Boston’s Back Bay. The Commissioner and the Chief along with several teams made up of Boston Police Officers, Cadets, Recruits and staff from our Operations Division raced up 60 flights of stairs in support of a great cause while representing the men and women of the BPD with pride. Thank you to our department members who participated and congratulations to all the teams that took part in this event.  We’ll see you next year!
