Community Alert: BPD Investigating Indecent Assault & Battery in the area of Beach Glen Street and Fort Avenue in Roxbury

 

At about 4:40 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for an indecent assault in the area of Beech Glen Street and Fort Avenue in Roxbury. An adult female victim stated that she was indecently assaulted by an unidentified black male in his mid-twenties, approximately 5’11”, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black knit hat. The suspect fled the area on foot, running down Beech Glen Street before turning left onto Fort Avenue towards Centre Street.

The Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.  Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives directly at (617) 343-4400.
