Commissioner Evans Had a Great Time Reading to the First Graders at MLK Elementary School

Today, June 20, 2017, Boston Police Commissioner William Evans visited the Martin Luther King Elementary School in Dorchester to read "The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza" to a class of first graders. Not only did the Commissioner have a blast reading with the kids, but he was able to impart on them a few summer safety tips before school ended for the year. The kids had so much fun with the Commissioner that they invited him to join in some of their field day activities afterward! And of course, our ice cream truck was there to provide a cold treat on a hot day!
