At about 5:23 PM on Monday, July 17, 2017, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 10 Vesta Road in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The first victim, a 21-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. The second victim, an 18-year-old male, was pronounced deceased on scene.
