Boston Police Seeking Information Relative to Vandalism to Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center in Dorchester

At about 8:00 AM on Monday, July 17, 2017, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a vandalism in the area of 950 Blue Hill Avenue at the Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center. Upon arrival, officers were informed that sometime between 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 15 and 6:00 AM on Monday, July 17 a suspect or suspects vandalized the rear of the building, storage shed, and tennis courts. The officers observed profanity spray painted on the rear door, the storage shed was broken into and ransacked, and the outdoor seating areas and garden had been destroyed.
