BPD Officers Arrest Suspect Wanted in Connection to Road Rage Incident on N. Washington Bridge: At about 8:52AM, on Friday, July 7, 2017, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for a road rage incident in the area of North Washington and Causeway Streets where an unknown operator was seen assaulting another operator with a baseball bat. According to information gathered at the scene, a light-skinned male in his twenties was seen exiting a gold-colored motor vehicle with a baseball bat in hand and then attacking an individual riding a motor scooter. The victim who was struck several times was transported to Mass General Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers spoke to witnesses at the scene who were able to provide officers with the plate attached to the suspect’s car. With that information, investigators were able to track the vehicle to an address in Dorchester where the suspect was located and taken into custody. Officers arrested Travis Elsaadi, 20, of Everett and charged him with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Baseball Bat).
