Four Suspects in Custody After BPD Drug Investigation Leads to Fentanyl Seizure Inside Dorchester Barbershop

At about 10:45 AM on Wednesday August 2, 2017, members of the Citywide Drug Control Unit, District B-2 Drug Control Unit, Youth Violence Strike Force and officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) executed a search warrant after a lengthy investigation into a drug trafficking organization operating out of the V.I.P. Barbershop located at 5 Eire Street in Dorchester. As a result, officers located and seized numerous bags of fentanyl packaged for sale with a combined weight of about 150 grams while placing four suspects in custody without incident. Carlos Nivar, 22, of Dorchester, Eudomar Aybar, 24, of Dorchester, Carlos Ademan-Mejia, 20, of Hyde Park and Elvis Ledesma, 33, of Dorchester will all be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of Trafficking Class B Drugs and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws.
